I live with my husband and five children in Block G, PPR (People’s Housing Programme) Lembah Subang. Of course if you talk to a lot of people here, they will complain about the cleanliness, the lifts that don’t work and the frequent break-ins. To me however, the biggest problem is drugs. As a mother here, you must never take your eyes off your children, not even for a moment. Children are very easily influenced and you don’t want them mixing with bad company. The police are constantly raiding houses in the area, but even then, the problem remains. But it’s not just the drugs you have to look out for, you always hear about kidnapping. Just recently, I heard a young girl was almost kidnapped in front of the Mosque nearby!
